Apologies for the lack of updates – I have been working hard on a tablet pc application that is integrating with CRM via SQL replication. It has actually been very interesting and is certainly a viable method of developing unrelated offline applications that need to sync data back to the server. We have been able to build a service side process (Well it will be a process!) that looks at the custom database for new records and using the CRM web services creates the relevant records, utilising the callout model we can also push data back the other way. I will look at producing a simple demonstration of utilising replication and how we can integrate that with CRM. Anyhow!
